We all know we’ve been going through a difficult situation. Bangladesh has been hit by severe floods since early July of 2020. Heavy rainfall is the main reason. Few surveys show that up to 25th July, 2020 around 3.3 million people got affected and the worst affected districts are mainly Jamalpur and Sunamganj. As of 28th July 4.7 million people got affected, 984,819 houses inundated. Report says 24% of our country is inundated and approximately 56,000 people have been displaced in 1,086 flood shelters. Almost 30 districts in north, north east and south east of the country have been affected.

Our organisation “Travelettes of Bangladesh “ has tried a lot to stand by the affected. They’ve already supplied food necessities to 36 families of  Tekerghat under Sunamganj district in 20th July 2020 , 20 families of Debhata under Satkhira district and 10 families of Dhamoti village under Debidar upazila in 4th August of 2020.They’re still trying to collect funds so that they can supply necessities to the affected.
